ORAN – The 22nd edition of the International Real Estate, Construction, Housing and Public Works Exhibition ‘BatiWest 2025’ will be held from 15 to 19 October in Oran, announced Zoubir Ouali, commissioner of the event, on Sunday.
Nearly 120 exhibitors will take part, representing national companies, as well as foreign companies from Spain, Turkey, Greece and Germany, in addition to the participation of banking institutions specialising in housing finance and organisations involved in vocational training and education, Mr Ouali told APS.
Now an unmissable annual economic event in Oran, this trade fair provides a space for meeting, exchanging expertise and creating partnerships with the foreign companies in attendance, according to the organisers.
It should be noted that more than 60% of exhibitors are recently established start-ups specialising in the production of building materials, with the ambition of marketing their products in the west and south-west of the country, and even exporting them to other African countries, it was added.
Alongside the exhibition, organised on the initiative of the agency ‘SP Events Com Company’, bilateral meetings between Algerian and foreign economic operators will be organised to encourage partnerships.
Conferences focusing on the construction, housing and renewable energy sectors in Algeria will also be held.
As a reminder, the previous edition attracted more than 18,000 visitors and led to the conclusion of several agreements between cement producers and property developers, as well as the establishment of business contacts between local economic operators and public and private companies in the property and housing sector.
